The Belfast Kids Unlimited 4-H Club continued again this year with the annual ice cream social that was first started by the Belfast United Methodist Church in 1964.

The Hillsboro Garden Club made a road trip to Bexley in lieu of their regular June meeting. After an exciting trip up, the members were given a tour of the Governor’s Residence and gardens by Donna and Jackie, who congratulated members on the club’s 90 years of existence.

SSCC Theatre presents “9 to 5: The Musical,” playing July 26-28 in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium on Southern State Community College’s Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro. The Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:30 p.m. and the Sunday matinee begins at 3:30 p.m.
