This Week At New Directions

Tuesday, May 1: Wildside
Wildside is our weekly high-energy gathering for middle school students in grades 6-8 and takes place every Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the New Directions youth center (251 Jefferson St. - downtown Greenfield). Wildside features a live band, fun games, small group discussions about real life issues and much more.

Wednesday, May 2: Open Time
Open Time takes place every Wednesday from 3-5 p.m. at the New Directions youth center (251 Jefferson St. - downtown Greenfield). All students in grades 6-12 are invited. Students can drop in and shoot some pool, play video games, enjoy a snack in the coffee house, do some homework or just hang out with friends.

Thursday, April 3: SoulFire
SoulFire is our weekly high-energy gathering for high school students in grades 9-12 and takes place every Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at the New Directions youth center (251 Jefferson St. - downtown Greenfield). SoulFire features a live band, fun games, small group discussions about real-life issues and much more.

Calling All Seniors (Class of 2012)
New Directions' annual "Senior Recognition Night" will take place on Thursday, May 10 with a dinner for seniors and their families at 5:30 p.m. at the New Directions Youth Center and a special time of recognition during SoulFire from 7-9 p.m. that includes gifts and special prayer for seniors. 8th Grade Commissioning
New Directions will honor our 8th graders who are graduating from our Wildside middle school ministry to the SoulFire high school ministry on Tuesday, May 15 from 6-8 p.m. at the New Directions Youth Center. All 8th graders and their families are encouraged to attend. This event will also feature our very popular "Year In Review" video.

2012 New Directions Scholarship
Congratulations to Brittany Mullikin, who has been chosen as the 2012 New Directions Scholarship recipient. This $500 scholarship will help Brittany as she prepares to attend Bowling Green University this fall.
