Venture Crew open house Oct. 27 at SSCC

Venture Crew 120 traveled to Owenton, Ky., to Elk Creek Sporting Clays.

While at the resort, the members of the crew participated in five-stand sporting clays, utilizing instruction and techniques learned within the club.

Venture Crew 120 is a co-ed (ages 14-21) shooting sports group concentrating on rifle, shotgun, handgun and archery competition.

All members received classroom training in NRA rifle, handgun and shotgun by advisors who are NRA qualified instructors.

During each phase, the members are taught proper use in handling and fundamental techniques of the disciplines that they choose to pursue.

If you are interested in learning more about the crew, join us at our open house. The open house will be Saturday, Oct. 27 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Southern State Community College in Room 107.
