Upcoming Highland County Chamber of Commerce events

The Highland County Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit membership-driven organization that represents the business community of Highland County.

The Chamber hosts four main events throughout the year along with quarterly networking and educational events. The Chamber is also honored to recognize the efforts of Highland County businesses through ribbon cuttings to celebrate openings, anniversaries, relocations or expansions.

Chamber events currently scheduled for the second quarter of 2025 include:

• April 2: Highland-Fayette-Clinton Safety Council hosted by the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce. The topic presented will be, “Safety and AI” and the meeting will take place at The Depot on Main in Washington Court House from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.

• April 7: Professional Head Shot Photo Day at the Chamber Office from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Photographer Emmy Lee Woods will be on site to take professional head shot photos for $35. This event is open to Chamber members only, and you must register at www.thehighlandchamber.com.

• April 8: Coffee & Commerce Networking Event at Bright Local Schools located at 44 North High Street in Mowrystown. This event is open to all Chamber members and will take place from 8 a.m. – 9 a.m.

• April 16: Maximize Your Membership Class at the Chamber office from 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. Only 10 seats will be available. Visit www.thehighlandchamber.com to sign up.

• April 22: Power Hour located at the Chamber office from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Kiersten Beatty, Owner of Elevate Creative will be presenting, “Building a Brand that Works: Essentials of Branding & SEO for Powerful Marketing.” This event is open to all Chamber members, and you must register at www.thehighlandchamber.com.

• May 7: Highland-Fayette-Clinton Safety Council hosted by the Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce. The topic presented will be, “Protecting your Employees (and your Business) in an Auto Accident” located at the Southern Ohio Educational Service Center in Wilmington from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.

• May 8: The Chamber’s Annual Meeting & Dinner will take place at The Orpheum in Hillsboro. Tickets for this event can be purchased by visiting the Chamber website or office. This event is open to all Chamber members.

• May 28: Rural Connections hosted by the Clermont County Chamber of Commerce located at RJ Cinemas & Distillery from 3:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. You must register at www.thehighlandchamber.com.

• May 29: Business After Hours Networking Event hosted by the Highland County Historical Society from 4:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. This event is open to all Chamber members.

• June 4: Highland-Fayette-Clinton Safety Council hosted by the Highland County Chamber of Commerce. The topic presented will be, “Legalities and Limitations of Hiring Minors” and the meeting will take place at Southern State Community College in Hillsboro from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.

• June 12: Power Hour located at the Chamber office. Melanie Swisher, Executive Director of Paint Valley ADAMH will be presenting, “Supporting Mental Wellness in the Workplace.” Lunch will be provided by ADAMH at 11:30 a.m. and the session will be from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. You must register at www.thehighlandchamber.com.

• June 24: Coffee & Commerce Networking Event at Open Gate Farm located at 9765 East Prospect Road in Hillsboro. This event is open to all Chamber members and will take place from 8 a.m. – 9 a.m.

• June 26: Rural Connections hosted by the Highland County Chamber of Commerce located at The Porch Carryout & Grill from 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. You must register at www.thehighlandchamber.com.

Additional events, including ribbon cuttings, will be added to the calendar and can be viewed by visiting the Chamber’s website. Businesses are encouraged to join the Highland County Chamber of Commerce and take advantage of the many programs, resources, and events that the Chamber offers.
