Triple-L 4-H Club holds May 2 meeting

By
Makayla Duncan-
The Triple-L 4-H Club met Sunday, May 2 at the home of adviser Jaime Simmons. Eighteen members attended the meeting.
President Tori Priest led the meeting. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Dylan Zimmerman. Ethan Cornwell led the group in the 4-H pledge. Roll call was observed by each member stating their favorite form of exercise.
The group turned in money from candy bar sales. They also turned in items for the animal shelter and community center. Important dates were reviewed, including 4-H camp dates, and FCS judging dates.
The club then participated in a game of charades, with the clues being health or safety related. They also played a game of 20 questions concerning health and safety. The group divided into teams to create a poster for an imaginary health or safety product. The winning team consisted of Diana Barrett, Dylan Zimmerman, Tori Priest, and Sammi Shepard. Healthy snacks were provided by Tori Priest and Wyatt Evans.
Our next meeting will be May 16, where we will have a pizza party and distribute awards for attendance, demonstrations, and other awards.
