Trading Post Antiques in Bainbridge announces 2013 hours

The Trading Post Antiques, 401 South Maple Street, Bainbridge is looking forward to 2013. 

Celebrating 39 years in the antique business is quite an accomplishment. The one-owner shop began as a one-room building in 1974 and grew to encompass three parcels of land.

Since the passing of the original owner, Rosemary Keaton, the local antique business has redefined itself.

All the original inventory was sold to settle the estate. The Trading Post Antiques reopened last Labor Day as an antique mall with three unique display areas offering items for sale.

Esther's House, a Victorian cottage built in the late 1900's with all the original woodwork and light fixtures, is furnished with period antiques and accessories.

The Primitive Place carries a full line of popular new vintage pieces and reproduction accessories.

The Barn is a mixture of antiques and old, vintage pieces. The Trading Post Antiques currently has over 12 vendors.

Space is available. Vendors may rent an entire room or consign individual pieces.

As always, the store is closed from Jan. 2-31, and reopens Feb. 1. Hours are: Thursdays - Saturdays: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sundays: noon-5 p.m.
