A genuine Carolina Low-Country Boil will be held on July 31 at Greenfield's Three Spoons Diner, 234 Jefferson St.

A generous portion of the proceeds will go to help fund the activities of the Greenfield Historical Society.

The guest chef for the evening will be Larry Chapman.

The menu will consist of shrimp, mussels, smoked sausage, new potatoes, sweet onions, carrots, and fresh corn on the cob boiled in a special blend of seasonings, served up on large platters with sides of North Carolina-style fried hush puppies. Other menu items will be available along with a great selection of homemade pies and cakes. Hours will be from 4-9 p.m.
