A spaghetti benefit dinner will be held for Thomas Goins and family at the St. Mary Catholic Church, 212 South High Street, Hillsboro on July 21 from 6-9 p.m.

Goins, 69, of Seaman, is retired from General Motors, a war veteran and has been driving semis for about 10 years. On May 28, Goins was driving a tractor-trailer near Bath, N.Y. when the truck veered off the roadway and rolled onto its side, spilling 3,000 gallons of asphalt sealer. Both Goins and his dog were seriously injured as they were ejected from the trailer, landing in the sealer. Goins was hospitalized in Rochester, N.Y.

All monetary donations can be made payable to Thomas Goins Benefit and can be mailed to NCB, c/o Melissa Harless, 139 South High St., Hillsboro. Please contact Harless at (937) 763-4936 or Kerri Mootz at (937) 763-3154 for more information.
