St. Mary's Episcopal Church invites everyone to attend one or all of the special Easter services that will be celebrated during Holy Week.
Beginning Sunday, April 1 at 10 a.m., a service with carrying of palm leaves and a special reading telling what happened during Jesus Christ's last days on earth will occur.
Then on Monday, April 2 at 7 p.m., an informative service, "Meditation on the Great Litany," will be provided.
Maundy Thursday, April 5 at 7 p.m. is a deeply emotional service based on the Last Supper and Jesus washing the feet of His disciples.
Friday, April 6 at noon tells the story of Jesus' trial and carrying the cross to His death in "Stations of the Cross."
An Easter vigil of quiet meditation and meaningful contemplation will be held on Saturday, April 7 at 7 p.m.
On Easter Sunday, April 8, there will be two services. The first will be a sunrise service beginning at 6 a.m. and will be held in the Memorial Garden on the North Street side of the church. The second service will be at 10 a.m. with a traditional Easter service and Holy Eucharist.
