Safety Santa to visit Hillsboro Kroger

Although the holidays are the most wonderful time of the year, they can also be one of the most dangerous as motorists are more likely to be involved in a crash – especially at busy intersections near malls and shopping districts.
 
To heighten awareness during the holiday season, the Ohio Department of Transportation - District 9 is hosting a series of safety events throughout the region in which District 9’s Safety Santa is making appearances at some of the busiest shopping centers to hand out drivers’ safety information to motorists and shoppers.
 
In Highland County, Safety Santa will be joined by a couple of his elves at the Hillsboro Kroger, located on Harry Sauner Road, on Friday, December 16, between 9 and 11 a.m. All media are invited to visit Santa on Friday to receive important safety information and learn more about this statewide campaign.[[In-content Ad]]
