Register now for Adena/YMCA Family Fit Program

Families wishing to be committed to better health are encouraged to register for the next six-week session of the Family Fit Program, sponsored by Adena Health System and the YMCA of Ross County.

Family Fit is a fun-filled, family oriented program that will start children and their families on a lifetime journey of health and confidence.

Each class brings together the whole family, for two hours, one day a week for six weeks. Classes include: nutrition lessons, cooking demonstrations, meal planning, exercise, and game playing taught by Adena dietitians.

The next Family Fit Program will begin on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Sessions are held each Wednesday at the YMCA of Ross County, located at 100 Mill Street, Chillicothe and will run through Wednesday, May 1, 2013.

Adena Health System is focused on the health and future of our region’s children and families. Our team of physicians and dietitians are available to help members of our community adopt healthy habits that are intended to make a positive, lifelong impact on the health of our children and families.

The six-week, Family Fit Program costs $50 per family, which includes all materials and a three-month family membership to the YMCA of Ross County - at no additional cost.
