An 8x8 quilt design in recognition of 100 years of the Girl Scouts has been placed on this barn at the Zimmerman farm between Hillsboro and Leesburg off U.S. 62 after Leesburg area Girl Scout Morgan Baker made the request of Gayle and Janet Zimmerman.

It is Morgan's hope that this will become part of the Appalachian Barn Quilt Trail.

Pictured are: (l-r) Breanna Tone, Caitlin Beatty, Morgan Baker, Saylor Priest and Alexis Tompkins from Girl Scout Troop 1092.
