Northview Baptist welcomes new pastor
Northview Baptist Church is pleased to welcome their new pastor and his wife, Bro. Kenny and Carolyn Cousar. They have come to Northview after seven years of ministry in Eufala, Alabama.
Cousar was born and raised in Raleigh, N.C., and Carolyn grew up just outside of Jackson in Oak Hill, Ohio. The Cousars have three sons, Ethan, Gabe and Seth.
In addition to serving in Alabama, Cousar has ministered in North Carolina, West Virginia and Virginia with experience in youth ministry and as senior pastor. He graduated from Southeastern Bible College with a degree in pastoral theology.
"My family and I are excited about being in Hillsboro, pastoring Northview Baptist Church," Cousar said. "We are looking forward to getting to know the folks at our church as well as the community. Even though we have only been here a short time, we have already been made to feel at home."
Northview Baptist Church will be celebrating the arrival of Bro. Kenny Cousar and family on Sunday, May 16, with a fellowship meal following the morning
worship service. At 3:00, Northview will observe an ordination service and reception.
Northview Baptist Church is located at 1139 Northview Drive in Hillsboro. Church service times are Sunday School 9:45 a.m., Morning Worship 11 a.m., Evening Worship 7 p.m. and Wednesday Prayer and Bible Study 7 p.m. Bro. Kenny Cousar can be reached at 393-2961.[[In-content Ad]]
