Local men will have a unique opportunity to attend the annual No Regrets Men’s Conference on Saturday, Feb. 2, at one of the conference’s host sites, First United Methodist Church, 405 South St., Greenfield.
“I have been to this event each of the past two years,” Greenfield resident Larry Hayes said, referring to his attendance both at the home site in Milwaukee, Wis., where 5,000 men were in attendance, and last year at a host site in Dayton, which “used a live video feed like we are doing this year in Greenfield,” said Hayes.
“This is an event that speaks to the hearts of men,” Hayes continued. “It helps me to realize our role as men of faith in our families, community and church and how to better live a life with ‘no regrets.’”
The theme of this year’s No Regrets Conference is “Transformed: Be. Not. Conformed” based on Romans 12:2. The conference, which features nationally renowned speakers Dan Seaborn, James McDonald, Kenny Luck, Vince D’Acchioli and Steve Sonderman, runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Greenfield First United Methodist Church. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m., and lunch is included. Besides six power-packed messages for men, there will be real-life testimonies during the live sessions and worship throughout the day.
Cost is just $20 per person, and that covers the conference plus food and refreshments. Tickets are available the day of the conference. You are encouraged to preregister by calling 937-763-2599.
This is the conference’s 20th year of reaching tens of thousands of men across the nation through this annual event.
“I missed its first 18 years, but I will try hard not to miss another,” Hayes said. “It is no accident that this takes place each year on the Saturday before the Super Bowl because this is a 'super bowl' event for all of the men who take part.
“I am pleased to work with a great ecumenical group of men from a broad spectrum of local churches whose desire is to bring this event into rural Southern Ohio and make it readily available and accessible to men of faith in our local area.”[[In-content Ad]]
