Mr. and Mrs. John Worley Johnson celebrate 50th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. John Worley Johnson (Joanne Cherry Michael) of Chillicothe will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on April 25. The couple were married at the Leesburg Friends parsonage by the Rev. Edward Linton.

They are the parents of four children: Janet (Larry) Chapman, Hillsboro; David (Sharon) Michael, Jamestown, R.I.; Edward Michael, Leesburg; and Thomas (Beth) Johnson, Chillicothe.

The couple have 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren.

A family celebration will be held in June at the Ladd family farm in Leesburg.
