Magic Waters hosts Haunted Hills weekend in October
When October rolls around, the hills and woods behind Magic Waters Theatre suddenly become inhabited by all sort of unusual creatures.
Describing them is not an easy task. Seeing is believing in this case.
Called the Haunted Hills, and located off Cave Road east of Hillsboro, this annual occurrence is a favorite of youth groups, teens on dates, families, and all folks who enjoy scary stuff.
The eerie torch-lit trail through the woods leads all brave enough to enter past a scare around every bend along the way. This is an area tradition that folks return to year after year, only to find that it is
different each time.
Tickets go on sale each Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7 p.m. Visitors are entertained until they get on the trail by Boonie the Magician with his ghost stories and his own brand of wizardry.
The Haunted Hills closes at 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at10 p.m. on Sundays. Admission is $7 for adults and $4 for children. Group rates may be arranged for groups of 20 or more. Folks wishing to arrange a Halloween or a birthday party at the Haunted Hills may call (937) 365-1388 for information.
