Lynchburg Lions to sponsor nationally known circus

The Lynchburg Lions Club is sponsoring the nationally known Culpepper and Meriwether Circus on Sunday, May 6 at the Lynchburg-Clay Middle School athletic area on the southern edge of Lynchburg. There will be two separate shows. The first one will be at 2 p.m., and the second will be at 4:30 p.m. The public is invited to watch the free circus set-up beginning at 10 a.m.

Advance tickets are on sale from all Lions members. Tickets are also on sale at the Lynchburg-Clay Elementary School each day from 3-3:30 p.m. and at the middle school and high school during lunch periods. Everyone is encouraged to buy tickets in advance. Cost is $6 for children ages 2-12 and $9 for everyone over age 12. Prices will be higher on show day.
