Join with the Lions Club and many businesses in Leesburg for the annual Luminaria to be held this Sunday, Dec. 11.

The evening will begin with the lighting of the luminaries at 5 p.m. From 5:30-7 p.m., you can hop on a wagon in downtown Leesburg for a ride around town to view the beautiful decorations, stop by the open houses at local businesses for some refreshments and fellowship, and take the kids to see Santa at the Leesburg Post Office.

And, don’t forget to catch the crowning of the king and queen at the Leesburg Library at 5:45 p.m. Then top the entire evening off by celebrating the real meaning of Christmas at the Leesburg Community Church Service to be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Walnut Hills Church of Christ in Christian Union (Barger Road).

Luminaria kits are still available from the Lions Club and can be obtained this Friday from 4-7 p.m. or on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Square One Heating & Cooling.

The cost of the kits is $8 and all proceeds from the sale go to Lions projects in our community.
