Leesburg Area Historical Society hosting annual cookout June 19

The Leesburg Area Historical Society will host its 6th annual Judy Mason Memorial Cookout on Friday, June 19 (rain date Saturday, June 20) from 5-8 p.m. at the Leesburg Depot.
On the menu: freshly grilled hamburger or hot dog, baked beans, slaw, chips, cookie and beverage. Dine at our picnic tables or carry out. Donations toward the depot restoration will once again be matched by the Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial Organization.
We have been raising funds for several years to restore the exterior of the depot. That work is now complete, and we hope you'll come check out the results. Our fundraising efforts are now focused on the interior of the building, which we hope to soon use for public and private events.
