The 2011 Highland County Fair was held on Sept. 3-10, 2011. The Lynchburg Clay FFA had many students participate in the Highland County Fair this year. There were a variety of animals that the students took to the fair.

Daisy Christophel and Tyler Cloud showed steers and won Grand and Reserve Grand Champion Rate of Gain, respectively.

Bradi Winkle showed lambs and earned sixth and two first-place awards.

Thaddeus Blankenship showed hogs and placed second in his class and seventh in his division. Jonathon Blankenship also showed hogs and placed sixth in showmanship and fourth. Brandon Peters showed hogs and placed fourth and seventh.

Caitlin Davidson showed dairy cows with placings of first, second and champion.

Kevin Young had market chickens and placed second in his class. Aaron Chaney also showed chickens and placed fourth in showmanship, second in skillathon and fourth in his class.

Claire Magie showed market barrows and placed fifth and seventh.

Colt Mootz showed rabbits and placed third in his class. Tyler Setty also showed rabbits and placed fifth and eighth.

Julie Arnett showed Market and Breeding Goats.

Patrick Roush showed Chiania open show and placed fourth and first.

These are many but not all of the accomplishments of the Lynchburg Clay FFA Students.
