Hillsboro Swim Club
hosts Help Me Grow
Highland County Help Me Grow had a very nice field trip to the local Hillsboro Swimming Club on July 21.
The children and parents were able to use the baby pool as well as the adult pool from 10 a.m.-noon. Many tried out the diving board and posed for a photograph.
Each child and parent were given a snack and refreshment. The Help Me Grow program enjoyed the day at the swimming pool and would like to thank the Hillsboro Swimming Club for this opportunity.
Scientific evidence strongly suggests that a child’s success is significantly determined by the quality of nurturing in the first three
years of life. Investment in programs that reach the needs of families with children during these formative years has huge dividends for
society.
The Help Me Grow program provides an accessible, family-friendly system to help identify children who may be at risk of a developmental delay, or who are eligible for ongoing special services to help them reach their potential. Because programs are coordinated, identification can be as early as possible, maximizing opportunities during the important first years of development so that children are ready for school.
Highland County Help Me Grow is located at 135 N. High St., Hillsboro, and serves children ages birth to age 3 who live in Highland County.
If you would like to make a referral or have any questions, please contact the Highland County Help Me Grow program by calling 937-840-0100.
