Hillsboro Rotary spaghetti dinner Oct. 29

By
-
The Hillsboro Rotary Club is pleased to announce that the spaghetti dinner preceding the annual Rotary Bowl, Hillsboro vs. McClain football game, will return this year.
The long-running event took a year off during the move into the new Hillsboro school facilities and the demolition of the old Hillsboro High School. The return to the site near Richards Memorial Field reestablishes the tradition begun many years ago.
The event will take place on Friday, Oct. 29 with dinner being served from 5-7 p.m. in the old Hillsboro High School cafeteria adjacent to the Hillsboro High School football field. The dinner menu includes traditional spaghetti and meat sauce, salad, garlic bread and choice of pie as dessert. Cost for the meal is $5 for adults and $3 for children 10 and under. Tickets are available by contacting any Hillsboro Rotarian and may be purchased in advance or at the door.
Hillsboro Rotarians prepare and serve the meal, with all proceeds going toward local projects that Rotary supports.
Jenny Cameron of Real Living Classic Real Estate, and Bill Smith of Weastec, are co-chairing this year’s event. Special thanks to Hillsboro City Schools for making this event possible.
Hillsboro Rotary invites the public to stop in for a delicious meal before the big cross-county match up and support the Hillsboro Rotary Club.[[In-content Ad]]
