• The Hillsboro FFA Chapter held their first meeting for the school year on July 22.
There were 32 members and six guests present.
The chapter discussed their new schedule for the first semester of the school year. They also broke out into three committees: chapter, community, and student development.
Each group brainstormed new ideas for each committee for the upcoming school year.
The Hillsboro FFA is looking into new ways to improve their chapter.
• The Hillsboro FFA Chapter held their annual corn hole tournament at the Festival of the Bells on July 3.
Ten teams participated in the contest, and the chapter made $100 after winnings were paid out.
The tournament was a blast, and the chapter hopes to see even more teams participate next year.
In addition, Payton Deatley and Josh Rhoads participated in the human tractor pull and received third overall.[[In-content Ad]]
