Highland House Assisted Living adds new positions to benefit residents

The seniors of Highland County can be assured that they have some great options to consider for their “golden retirement” years. Highland House Assisted Living in Hillsboro has recently made several additions to help ensure that their residents are both well taken care of and provided with a safe environment, an enriched lifestyle and an overall setting that promotes a sense of well-being.

Assisted Living Concepts, Inc., the parent company of Highland House, has recently committed to adding additional staffing hours to ensure that the residents of the community are receiving the best care available in the area. The staff-to-resident ratio has greatly increased with the addition of several full-time positions. The community is now staffed with a full-time wellness director, activities director, housekeeper and maintenance technician as well. The wellness director, a registered nurse, also has the help of 24-hour coverage by an LPN.

These positive additions, along with the already beautiful setting, give Highland County’s senior citizens a great alternative when the time arrives that staying in their home is just not safe or convenient anymore.
