The Highland County Poultry, Pigs and Lambs 4-H Club elected new officers for the 2013 year on March 17.

Josh Rhoads was elected president for the 2013 year. Brittany Rhoads will serve as vice president, and the secretary this year will be William Albert. The treasurer for HCPPL is Tyler Chaney and serving as news reporter is Jacob Rhonemus. Elected as safety officer is Kurt Hamilton. The health officer will be Zane Hawk. The community service officer is Jared Conn.

Congratulations to all newly elected officers. We look forward to another great and fun year in the HCPPL 4-H Club.

The next meeting will be April 7 at 2 p.m. held at the Hamer Township House.

We also would like to invite everyone to the upcoming third annual Extension/4-H Dinner & Auction Fundraiser on April 6 in the Poultry & Rabbit Barn, at the Highland County Fairgrounds starting at 6 p.m. We hope to see you there!
