Highland County Emmaus gathering July 31

The Highland County Emmaus gathering will be held on July 31 at the Nazarene Church on U.S. 50 east of Hillsboro.

The gathering will begin at 7 p.m. There will be singing, a “Fourth Day” speaker as well as meditation before communion.

The gathering is open to everyone.

Many people have completed their Emmaus Walk and this is an opportunity to come together with old and new friends.

A notice has been sent to those who submitted their e-mail addresses. (Please tell others about this gathering so there is a good turnout.)

If possible, bring some food to share with the community. There is a saying that “When Emmaus meets, Emmaus eats.”
