Highland County District Library observes National Library Week
National Library Week will be celebrated during April 8-14 at the Highland County District Library and across the nation.
The Highland County District Library joined the SEO Consortium in May of 2001. At that time, this move allowed our patrons access to over 600,000 books, records and movies not already available to them.
Since then the consortium has grown and is now made up of 80 library systems at 176 physical locations throughout 42 counties across Ohio using the OPLIN network.
The power and value of this consortium resides in resource sharing among its members which allows small and rural library systems to have access to over 6.9 million items.
The State of Ohio is known for its wonderful public libraries and the Highland County District Library is proud to be among them and to have the opportunity to serve its patrons.
Visit the local libraries' four locations or online at www.highlandco.org.
Library staff will also be at the Highland District Hospital's health fair on Saturday, April 14.
