Harold and Sylvia (Hall) Brown celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Nov. 26 at the Ponderosa Banquet Hall.
The lovely dinner was catered by Ponderosa and sponsored by their four children, Michael (Dee) Brown, Lorraine (Bill) Crank, Leon a (Mike) Anders and Angela (Lance) Disher.
Also in attendance were several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, many family members and dear friends.
They were married Dec. 16, 1951 in Spartanburg, S.C. After moving to Ohio a few years later, Harold worked at Highland Enterprise for 19 years and later owned his own construction business with his son.
Sylvia worked 26 years at Robertshaw Control and 12 years at Bundy Tubing in Sabina.
Harold and Sylvia are very proud of their four children, 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
When asked what they attribute to having such a long and happy marriage, they always respond, “Having God in our marriage is the key.”
