Good News Gathering to hold annual Roots concert Oct. 27-28

The public is invited to come experience the sights and sounds of Roots VIII.

Roots, presented by Good News Gathering, is an annual celebration of God's gift of music. At Roots, you will hear everything from gospel to blues, reggae to rock and roll. Roots will feature songs from artists such as U2, Finger Eleven, Matt Redman, Collective Soul and many more.

Roots is free of charge, and childcare is available for children under 5. There are two performances: Saturday, Oct. 27 from 7-8:30 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 28 from 10-11:30 a.m.

Roots will be held at Good News Gathering’s new Ministry Center, located at 6250 US 62 South in Hillsboro, next to Hillsboro High School.
