GE project provides Easter baskets to 130 area families

The General Electric Peebles Test Operation employees, volunteer & Elfun Organizations, in cooperation with the Highland County Samaritan Outreach Center and the Fur, Feather & Friends 4- H group combined resources to make Easter special for 130 Highland County families.

The organizations collected, packaged and distributed Easter baskets filled with food and Easter eggs and candy. The 2012 GE Easter food baskets campaign exceeded all goals and expectations by providing Easter meals for more than 130 Highland County families.
