Ford, Hardgrow, Sutherland families reunite

Mr. and Mrs. Eric Duncan and children of Houston, Texas and Mr. and Mrs. Shawn Sutherland of Columbus hosted the second Ford/Hardgrow/Sutherland Reunion. The three-day affair, with the Ohio families supporting the event, took place at the Pike Lake Resort.
This is the second reunion of the living children of the late Mabel Hardgrow and Constance Ford, Gary Hardgrow and Barbara Sutherland. It became the desire of one grandson of the Sutherland family to sit down to fellowship with the cousins he did not know. As the family is extensive and scattered across the United States, it was an endeavor the family did not know could work.
The family was honored to have Mr. and Mrs. Roy Daley from Jamaica as guests at this year's reunion. There were as many attending the 2012 homecoming as the first one. We still missed the entire Sampson families.
The Connecticut and Massachusetts families, Dr. Dunson and Tracey Sutherland, are planning to host the 2014 event with local families helping.
