First baby of 2013 born at HDH

Barbara and Derk Streitenberger of Washington Court House welcomed the birth of their son, Gavyn Lee, at 12:18 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013 at Highland District Hospital.

Gavyn was the first baby born at HDH's Maternity Department in 2013.

Western-Southern Life Insurance of Hillsboro congratulated the family and presented gifts on Thursday.

Welcoming Gavyn at home will be brothers Traeton, Reignen and Caleb.
