Faul joins Teach for America Corps

Jade Faul, former resident of Hillsboro, is about to embark on a new adventure. She has completed three levels of higher education. She started out as a Post Secondary Enrollment Option student at Southern State Community College, earning an associate’s degree along with her high school diploma. Next, she earned a scholarship from the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and an Appalachian scholarship from Ohio State University. She earned a B.A. in English and then attended Minnesota State University, earning a master’s degree in English. During graduate school, she taught college English courses, also taking a one-year break to teach English courses at Southern State.
