Fab Five 4-H Club elects new officers
On Sunday, April 7, the Fab Five 4-H Club had our first meeting with the new officers.
The new President chosen was Maddy Wiseman; the new Vice President chosen was Ginny Trent; the new Secretary chosen was Miley Caldwell; the new Treasurer chosen was Jorja May; and the new News Reporter chosen was Lyla Cockerill.
In the meeting, we discussed the the quality assurances coming up, fair theme ideas and T-shirt designs for the club. We also as a club decided to move the meeting times from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. In addition to that, we had a few demonstrations.
We ended the meeting by making tie blankets that were given to the Link family, who gifted the blankets to the Children’s Hospital in Columbus. Anyone who attended the meeting got their community service in for the year.
Since then, we have had our bake sale at the Southern Hills Community Bank in Leesburg and the Peoples Bank in Hillsboro, and it was a success.
