Emergency preparedness event to be held Saturday

An emergency preparedness event will be held Saturday, Sept. 15 from 2-5 p.m. at the Winchester Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

The Red Cross will be presenting information on disaster preparedness. The Seaman Life Squad will share information on 911 emergencies, food storage and handling power outages; and first aid, including CPR and defibrillator information.

The church is located off Route 32 at 1185 Graces Run Road, Winchester near Evergreen Nursery.
