Dance contest, Elvis performance scheduled at Senior Center

The Highland County Senior Citizen Center is now offering yoga, provided by Sharon Fulkerson of Hospice of Hope, every Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Center, 185 Muntz Street, Hillsboro. These classes are free to our members. Call the Center for details and sign up at 937-393-4745. Classroom space is limited. 
 
Square dance, hoedown style, at your Highland County Senior Citizen Center July 21 at 5 p.m. Barrel racing, cake walk and a live band. Bring a covered dish. FREE cowboy advice. $3 cover at the door. 185 Muntz Street, Hillsboro. 393-4745. All are welcome.
 
Danny Russell Presents: Elvis Presley at the Senior Citizen Center Saturday, Aug. 4. Dinner at 5:30 p.m., concert at 7 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m. Tickets are $7 including dinner. Tickets on sale now! Burgers and fries will be served, with burgers provided by Union Stock Yards of Hillsboro.

Willard Parr of WSRW will emcee the hulu hoop and dance contest. There will be prizes. Noreen's School of Dance will be helping out for the dance contest, which will include dances from the '50s, '60s and '70s such as the Mashed Potato and the Twist. Limited tickets will be sold. Tickets are on sale now at Heartland of Hillsboro, Genesis of Hillsboro and the Highland County Senior Citizen Center. Call 393-4745 for information.
