Cumberlands celebrate golden anniversary

James Henry Cumberland and Eleanor Louise Curtis Cumberland of Hillsboro
are celebrating 50 years of marriage. The couple were united in marriage at New Hope Baptist Church in Hillsboro on June 18, 1960. They were married by the late Don W. Harris.
The couple have four children, James Leon, Mark, Chad, and Heather; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In celebration, the family has planned a party on the anniversary, and a Tennessee vacation is planned to celebrate the occasion at the end of June. The couple are quoted as saying they are "50 years stronger."[[In-content Ad]]
