Cowan Lake Association of Sportsmen announces upcoming events for October, November

The Cowan Lake Association of Sportsmen has announced their upcoming meetings and events for October and November.
Friday, Sept. 24: Fish Fry, 4-7 p.m. Open to the public. Adult $6, Senior $5, Child $2.
Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 9-10: Hunter Safety Course, Sat. 8 a.m. - 2 p.m., Sun. 1-5 p.m. Must attend both days of the course. Free. Call 1-800-WILDLIFE
Saturday, Oct. 16: Board Meeting, 3:30 p.m.; Membership Meeting  and Potluck Supper, 6:30-7:30 p.m. Program: TIP (Turn In a Poacher) and USSA (U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance). Donations to TIP & USSA. Elections for board members.
Friday, Oct. 22: Decorate for Halloween party, 7 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 23: Halloween Party, 6-8 p.m. Open to the public. Free; would appreciate a canned food item for needy families. Games, activities, family fun. Costume contests for all ages, including adults.
Friday, Oct. 29: Soup & Salad Smorgasbord Dinner, 4-7 p.m. Open to public. Adult $6, Senior $5, Child $2.
Saturday, Nov. 6: Safe Boating Class, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Register at Div. of Watercraft, 937-323-1582.
