Community discussion on person-centered care

On Thursday, Sept. 13, the Area Agency on Aging District 7 (AAA7) Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program will sponsor a meeting for families of nursing home residents and those interested in creating a better future for themselves and their loved ones as they age.

The meeting will be held at Highland District Hospital’s Board Room, located at 1275 North High Street in Hillsboro, from 2-3:30 pm.

Interested individuals will be invited to participate in an informal discussion about the creation of a new culture of care in nursing homes called “Person-Centered Care.”

Refreshments will be served.
