Will March come in like a lion or a lamb?
The Leesburg Library staff hopes you will stop in and check out some of our weather-related books this month or books on any other topics that might be of interest to you.
We also invite you to join our Knit Together group which continues to meet every Thursday from 5:30-7 p.m. Bring whatever project you are working on and join us for conversation and knitting. Beginners are welcome!
Dawna Jo Kiesling from the Highland County Extension Office will be here with good nutrition tips and healthy recipes on Thursday, March 7 from 10 a.m.-noon.
Our teen book club, SPARX, will meet on Thursday, March 14 at 5:30 p.m. The group is always looking for new members, so feel free to join them for some lively discussion. Our adult book group, RRR meets on Thursday, March 21 at 1:30 p.m. They are also looking for new members so feel free to attend their meeting in March.
We have been having great fun during our story times here at the Leesburg Library. This month’s themes include This Little Piggy, On Top of Spaghetti, That’s Just Ducky and Easter Parade. Our story times are held on Thursdays at 10 AM for Wee Ones (6-36 months) and at 10:30 AM for Tater Tots (3-5 yrs).
