Brenna Wright, 5, a kindergartner at Greenfield Elementary School, has donated 13 inches of her hair to Locks of Love.

While her family was dining at a restaurant, Brenna saw a donation box that had a picture of a girl who had cancer. The girl didn't have any hair.

Brenna told her parents she wanted to give her hair to that girl because "it would make the girl happy and she feel like a princess.

"All little girls want long hair," Brenna said.

An appointment was made at The Glitz and Brenna had 13 inches of her hair cut and donated to Locks of Love.

Brenna is the daughter of Tytus and Shawna Wright of Greenfield.
