Beech Street on Main expands store, adds new products

Brent Huffman is pleased to announce the expansion of his store Beech Street on Main, as the store's back wall has been moved and the store's layout has been completely revamped to allow for new products.
Huffman said that the new layout gives customers more space and lighting and makes access to popular products such as the Beech Street Candleworks line easier.
"I've had great feedback from customers," Huffman said. "Everyone said the store looks twice as big."
The new layout also allows for more room for larger pieces for the home, such as art, tables and other decor.
Huffman said that while the store's focus right now is on new home decor products, he has also started featuring more local artisans and products in addition to those already featured in the store. Among them are Louise & Co. Pillows, a New Market-based business that features designer pillow covers and pillow bands.
"We try to stay on top of trends, but we don't want trendy products that will be outdated in a year," Huffman said. "We try to select products with a classic tone when it comes to design."
Another new feature to the store is the "Kringle Korner," which will include Christmas ornaments, decor, signs and other gifts all year. Huffman said that in the past, the store offered Christmas gifts starting in October, but he saw a need for year-round products as well as an opportunity to offer lower prices throughout the year.
"With this feature, we're able to pass savings on to customers," Huffman said.
The store has also recently begun offering fresh-roasted coffee from the Greene Beanery, which is based out of Peebles. Huffman said the coffee is "really good, smooth and delicious."
More products are scheduled to be added this spring, including more floral home decor items. Huffman said he is currently looking into additional new products for the store, including local alpaca rugs.
Huffman also has plans for monthly events to be held at the store, which he hopes to begin in the next few months.
