"You are if you come help make a difference the Anna’s Army Way. Together Anything is possible," said organizer Andi Reno.
Founded in 2002 by the family of Anna Reno, a Hillsboro Elementary student who was battling Cystic Fibrosis, the organization and its fundraising initiatives have grown into an annual event geared toward finding a cure for the disease, and has raised more than $100,000 toward that goal. Anna passed away in March 2009 at age 8.
