AAUW announces scholarship recipients

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) recently awarded two women with scholarships. Each recipient received a $500 check. The scholarships are financed from proceeds from the Book Sale, which will be Nov. 1, 2 and 3 at the Administration Building in Hillsboro.

Bobbi Springer of Hillsboro is a mother of two sons. She is currently enrolled at Southern State Community College and is interested in working with special needs children.

Steffani Robins of Greenfield is a mother of three girls. She is enrolled in the nursing program at Southern State Community College and would like to eventually work in pediatric oncology.[[In-content Ad]]
