AAUW, Altrusa gear up for annual book sale

The Hillsboro area branch of the American Association of University Women and Altrusa are preparing for the annual Book Sale. Barrels for the collection of gently used books have been placed in the Leesburg, Greenfield, Lynchburg and Hillsboro libraries; Save-A-Lot market in Greenfield; and Kroger and Community Markets in Hillsboro. No magazines, encyclopedias, texts or condensed books, please.

The book sale will be held at the Highland County Administration Building in Hillsboro on Thursday, Nov. 3 from noon until 6 p.m.; Friday, Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.; and Saturday, Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Money raised will provide scholarships and support literary projects.[[In-content Ad]]
