4th annual CAC Community Trunk-or-Treat scheduled for Oct. 23

The Community Action Committee of Pike County (CAC) is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated fourth annual Community Trunk-or-Treat event, scheduled to take place Wednesday, Oct. 23 from 5-7 p.m. This exciting event will be held at the Multi-Purpose Building at the Pike County Fairgrounds, located at 311 Mill Street, Piketon.

The Community Trunk-or-Treat event promises to be an evening of family-friendly entertainment, community engagement, and of course, plenty of candy and giveaways. This event is open and free to the public, offering an excellent opportunity for residents of all ages to gather, socialize and discover the array of services and programs that the Community Action Committee of Pike County has to offer. Representatives from various departments and programs will be present to provide information and answer questions.

Local businesses and organizations have joined hands with the CAC to make this event a true community celebration. Attendees will have the chance to explore the offerings of these local partners, building stronger connections within the community and supporting local initiatives.

“In the spooky spirit of Halloween, our goal with the Community Trunk-or-Treat bash annually is to conjure up a place where everyone can unite, revel in some fun, and discover the amazing services we, and the community, offer," shared Amber Wheeler, Executive Assistant/Events Committee President at Community Action Committee of Pike County. "We urge all to come with their kin, pals and neighbors to relish a night of treats, thrills and community magic."

Participants are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite costumes, showcasing their creativity and embracing the Halloween spirit. However, costumes are not required — everyone is welcome to attend and join in the festivities.

The Community Trunk-or-Treat event promises to be an evening of spooktacular fun, community engagement, and a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the Community Action Committee of Pike County and its various departments and programs. Don't miss out on this exciting event.
