Under Article I of the Constitution, each fiscal year, the Appropriations Committees in both the House and the Senate are responsible for passing a series of twelve appropriations bills that regulate government expenditures and ensure the taxpayer dollar is being spent responsibly – a mission that is necessary in order for our federal government to properly function and something I care deeply about.

Donald Trump’s bombastic style is identical to that of most of the people, developers and lawyers, who have paid my salary for the last 54 years. You might say I am used to it, and it bothers me not in the least. It comes with the territory.
