Nearly a third of the people in this country (citizens and illegal immigrants) receive handouts from the government. This is not democracy; this is socialism.

I'm sure the millions of good folks working for the federal government will soon get to the bottom of this. Who knows? Maybe Chimus Transportation, Inc. will take the high road and resolve its address issue(s).

In the prime time "60 Minutes" broadcast, CBS removed Harris’ second answer from the preview clip and swapped in a statement the vice president made in response to a different question. In the substitute answer, Harris declares that the Gaza war must end: “We are not going to stop pursuing what is necessary for the United States to be clear about where we stand on the need for this war to end.” This tactical move is ethically bankrupt and journalistically indefensible.

One of the most concerning aspects of these open border policies has been the administration’s abuse of parole. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have allowed an unprecedented number of illegal immigrants to roam the U.S. freely.

If I am wrong and Kamala Harris becomes the 47th president, I pray that divine providence takes hold of her and guides her to protect, defend, and strengthen these United States and their Constitution. Seems like a long shot, but without Trump, prayer is all we got.

When you hear a politician talking about quick fixes to lower the cost of medicine, usher in a single-payer system like ‘Medicare-for-All,’ or bring about an immediate free-market revolution to health care, it’s not true. There are no easy reforms or singular solutions that will impact all the layers and complications of providing greater access to health care at lower costs.

President Biden and Vice President Harris argue that they are just trying to "protect democracy." Yet, they have done all they can to prevent citizens from hearing the truth about their administration. That itself is anti-democratic. And it is immoral.  

The White House press secretary had said, “I can absolutely assure you that no one is coming into the United States of America who has not been through a thorough screening and background check process.” And yet, a dangerous Afghan national who was plotting a terrorist attack was allowed into our country.

Myths are stories often about natural occurrences that appear to have a factual basis but in reality, are based on fiction. Consider the tale of the woolly worm, which is actually the woolly bear caterpillar, and not a worm at all.

Less than 48 hours before arrival in North Carolina and just over two weeks until Election Day, Donald Trump has become the first to clear the margin of error leading a presidential poll in the battleground state.

A Trump White House will push for a mixture of federal preemption where the states overly burden commerce and greater autonomy to relieve states of costs arising from intrusive federal requirements. That means balancing the sometimes-competing goals of deregulation and federalism.

Greenfield does need a change. Just not the federal plan. Greenfield needs its own charter, where all of the issues brought up in the past year or so can be addressed. And Greenfield will not have a chance to form a charter for another three to five years if this issue passes.

I doubt that an election decision will be resolved anytime on Nov. 5, 6, or perhaps even Nov. 7. And should the election be dragged out in the courts, bitterness and division will only get worse than it is already.

The SAVE Act would require states to obtain proof of U.S. citizenship – in person – before allowing an individual to register to vote for a federal election. In addition, the legislation would require states to establish programs to remove aliens from their voter rolls.

We must encourage our lawmakers to oppose any additional rate hikes from these utility companies and demand answers from the companies about how they justify the money they charge customers to pay for unnecessary investments just to pad their profits and keep their shareholders happy.
