Fr. Mike Paraniuk is the Will Rogers of sweet spirit and truth
Letter to the editor:
I thoroughly enjoy Fr. Mike Paraniuk's column every time. I sometimes use it in my morning devotion time. (I am not Catholic – doesn't matter). He always tells a worthwhile story, and makes so much common sense with sweet eloquence.
He is the Will Rogers of sweet spirit and truth. Always feel like a refreshing breeze passed over me when I complete one of his columns. I wonder if he has thought to put out a book of his writings. His gentleness and sweetness and common sense always comes through and could bless anyone who reads it.
I also enjoy Jim Thompson's writings. I grew up in the Rainsboro area and recognize mention of the McNary and Beavers farms. I always wondered if he was compiling a book. I had a brother (deceased) who lived on Briar Hill Road which he recently mentioned, and have a brother who lives nearby on Cave Road. I enjoy his stories. Takes me back home to the good old days.
I look forward to receiving The Highland County Press. It helps me know what is going on locally, and puts me wise to a lot of the political things that affect the Hillsboro/Highland County area. Thanks to all of you at The HCP. Great job from you all.
Sincerely,
Linda Hodge
