Winifred "Winnie" Jones, 67, of Greenfield, died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010 at her home.

She was born June 19, 1943 in Chillicothe, the daughter of the late Loren and Josephine (Jackson) Bower.

She retired from the U.S. Shoe Corp. in Greenfield and also worked for K-Mart Corp. She was a 1961 graduate of the Edward Lee McClain High School.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Trego of Greenfield; her step-daughter, Kimberly Howard of Greenfield; two grandsons, Joshua and Samuel Calhoon; a brother, Lester (Penny) Bower of New Vienna; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Emerson Jones, in May 2000.

Services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010 at Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Mike Free officiating. A visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010. Cremation will take place.
